HERITAGE AND INNOVATION COMBINE IN THE GLOBAL REBRAND OF ZWIESEL FORTESSA GROUP
Company Builds on Decades of Heritage to Launch a New Era of International Growth and Design Leadership
Ashburn, VA October 1, 2025 - Zwiesel Fortessa today announced the completion of its transition to a unified global identity. Following the integration of Fortessa into Zwiesel Kristallglas AG in 2022, the combined group has since operated under the umbrella of the Zwiesel Fortessa Group.
Beginning October 1, the German business will officially adopt the name Zwiesel Fortessa AG, aligning with its U.S. counterpart, Zwiesel Fortessa Americas, under the shared parent company. The new name reflects the company’s balance of heritage and innovation, local craftsmanship and global reach, and its vision to redefine how the world sets the table. The consolidation of the Zwiesel and Fortessa brands under a single name creates a consistent international presence that strengthens recognition and positions the group to respond quickly to both regional and global trends. “The table is more than just a place to dine—it’s where people connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories,” said Prof. Andreas Buske, Owner of Zwiesel Fortessa AG. “With our new direction, we aim to support hosts everywhere with products and concepts that combine exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and creativity.”
A central part of this evolution is Fortessa, long recognized as a leader in premium tableware for both hospitality and home. Offering an extensive assortment of flatware, dinnerware, glassware, and serving solutions, Fortessa has earned the trust of leading hotels, restaurants, and retailers worldwide.
“Our customers are at the center of everything we do,” said Matt Broad, CEO of Zwiesel Fortessa Americas. “This rebrand builds on our shared heritage while ensuring we can deliver new products and solutions to the table—faster, stronger, and with a truly global perspective.” With a broad product portfolio spanning Zwiesel Glas, Schott Zwiesel, Fortessa, and the newly added luxury glass brand Eisch, Zwiesel Fortessa delivers tailored solutions for every style of entertaining. The company is known for pairing timeless design with long-lasting performance. This rebrand marks a significant step in Zwiesel Fortessa’s global growth strategy and reinforces its guiding principle: The table is yours.
